Urbantech Group took part in Transport of Russia exhibition

UrbanTech Group took part in the Transport Week, the largest event in the transport industry, which was held on November 14-16 in Moscow’s Gostiny Dvor. The company presented its Azimuth road safety equipment and the All-Russian Traffic Safety Index, developed jointly with the Smart City Research Center of the HSE University.
At the stand of Priority Projects of the Ministry of Transport, the Azimuth 4 traffic enforcement camera unit was presented. This system is capable of recognizing 51 traffic violations. Additionally, the stand featured Azimuth DT vehicle detector, which records the parameters of traffic flows and signs of traffic violations, and Azimuth Parking traffic enforcement camera unit for registering vehicles, which are parked in unauthorized locations. The equipment was manufactured in Perm by Road Safety Technologies, a part of Urbantech Group.
Urbantech Group also presented the All-Russian Road Safety Index, which is designed to assess the road safety in the Russian regions. The index will help the heads of transport departments and organizations identify the factors that have the greatest impact on accident rates and focus on problem areas to improve road safety, achieving the goals set in the national project Safe and High-Quality Roads.
Transport Week 2023 addressed such topics as the strategic development of the country's transport infrastructure for the coming years, transport safety issues, the development of international transport corridors, the building of sustainable supply chains, and other related subjects.

The Transport Week has been held annually for the past 16 years. Since 2016, it has been organized with the support of the Russian Government. The event gathers more than 3,000 participants of the business program and 70 exhibitors, who sign at least 60 agreements. This year, the event was attended by delegations from China, Mali, Kyrgyzstan, and other foreign countries.

As part of the Transport Week, an award ceremony was held for the winners of the Motion Formula award. Two projects from Urbantech Group — AutoDiscovery software for creating digital twins and OSSiG-Control technology for recognizing illegal carriers of construction waste on public roads — have been shortlisted in the category Best Solution in Transport Digitalization. The results of the award can be found here.
