On 23 May, the ceremony of the Our Contribution First National Award took place in Moscow. MVS Group (part of the Urbantech Group of Companies) with its inclusive autistic employment project made it to the award finals, eventually winning the National Projects Partner status!
The Our Contribution National Award is given to organizations for business and NGO contributions to the achievement of goals and objectives pursued by national projects. To be elected, companies and non-profit organizations are to meet certain criteria, such as national project goals and objectives, expert recognition, being among the leaders of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs ‘Sustainable Development Vector’ ESG index, and positive socioeconomic effect.
The inclusive employment project for people with ASD, pursued by MVS Group (part of the Urbantech Group of Companies) now employs over 20 people with autism spectrum disorders. Since the project launch, the company has solidified its experience and came forward with Russia’s first practical guide for businesses on inclusive employment of people with autism. This is a step-by-step guide, from making a decision to start hiring people with autism to completing their onboarding process.
