“Stupid traffic jams” Eliminated in Two Towns in Greater Moscow

A pilot project was launched in Moscow region on the initiative of Governor Andrei Vorobyov to optimize traffic in the towns of Shchelkovo and Fryazino. MVS Group and Informtehtrans were the two partner companies of the project.

At the very beginning of the pilot project, it was possible to optimize the use of road surface, increasing traffic speed. These measures were implemented because of a comprehensive analysis of transport problems. During the first days of the project, from 25 to 28 July, the average speed of transport flow from Moscow increased by 30%, and to Moscow - by 10%. Shchelkovo can now be reached in 15-20 minutes even during rush hours.
