The CDESW Control Project in the Moscow Region Wins CIPR DIGITAL Award in Digital Nature Category

The CDESW Control project in the Moscow Region has won the CIPR DIGITAL Award in the Digital Nature category. CIPR (the Digital Sector of Industrial Russia) is the annual business conference in Nizhny Novgorod, one of TOP 5 events in Russia’s digital economy.
Especially for the Ministry of Ecology and Nature Management of the Moscow Region, the Urbantech Group has developed and implemented the CDESW Control technology solution based on an analysis of traffic enforcement camera data for detection of unauthorized transportation of construction waste along public roads and its dumping at illegal sites.

Over the 1.5 years of the system operation in the Moscow Region, the number of illegal construction waste dump sites have reduced by 57%, with over 67 million rubles saved on waste dump site elimination costs.

A total of 374 applications were filed for CIPR DIGITAL Awards; ultimately, 16 winners were selected, one in each category.
