Urbantech Group signed an agreement on cooperation with the Ministry of Transport and Road Facilities of the Republic of Tatarstan

The Ministry of Transport and Road Facilities of the Republic of Tatarstan, Urbantech Group and Gulliver Research and Design Association signed an agreement on cooperation in transport digitalization and transport infrastructure development. The signing took place at the Kazan Digital Week International Forum.
The aim of the agreement is to develop and work through new joint projects in road traffic safety, intelligent transportation systems, construction, and operation of urban cable cars in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Airat Sadykov, Deputy Minister of Transport and Road Facilities of the Republic of Tatarstan, signed the agreement on behalf of the Ministry. On behalf of Urbantech Group, the agreement was signed by Andrey Denisenkov, shareholder and founder of Urbantech Group. Damir Altynbayev, Director of Gulliver Research and Design Association, also signed the agreement.
«We are interested in further developing technological projects in the transportation sector in the Republic of Tatarstan. The agreement lays the foundation for cooperation with a new promising partner,» commented Airat Sadykov, Deputy Minister of Transport and Road Facilities of the Republic of Tatarstan. "We have been observing the projects of Urbantech Group in other regions and see that they have a number of successfully implemented projects and interesting technological solutions. We look forward to fruitful collaboration in the Republic of Tatarstan.»
The agreement signed during Kazan Digital Week includes provisions for the collaborative development of «transportation technology projects» as well as «cable car construction projects.»
«Tatarstan is rightfully considered a technological leader in Russia, as it is a region where numerous new digital projects are launched annually, including in the transportation sector,» says Andrey Denisenkov. «In addition to implementing IT solutions, the signed agreement also involves cooperation in the construction of urban cable cars. Urbantech Group is already working on and implementing similar projects in other regions, and we see significant potential for cable cars as a form of public transport in Kazan and other cities of Tatarstan.»
